How far we have come

Currently, Awareness 360 is being run in 23 countries worldwide. Each of our project addresses one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN. The Co-Founders supervise the Country Ambassadors and Core Members. The Country Ambassador in each operating country leads the Core Members of that country. The core members, under the leadership of the Country Ambassador, tries to spot a problem in their community. The members then reach out to the target audience and research further about the issue. The team then designs a solution for that problem such as awareness campaigns and conduct the projects with the help of the Volunteers. Once a project is complete, the members go back to the community to do surveys as a measurement method of the success of the project. So far, our projects have benefited over 150,000 people

Looking back

The Co-Founders Rijve & Shomy were hanging out at a burger shop and randomly talking about how privileged they are compared to many people in their community. At one point of the discussion, they realized that those who are not as privileged as they are, always remain unheard. They lag behind and are deprived of basic human rights. It dawned on Rijve and Shomy that as responsible global citizens, it is their duty to not just sit back and complain about problems but take action. They instantly decided to form a platform. A platform where like-minded people will come together to spread awareness regarding issues prevalent in the society.“Awareness 360” because they did not want to set any boundary in terms of creating awareness, and also wanted to go global. This is how, from a friendly discussion at a burger shop, Awareness 360 evolved
