Project Creative Teaching, Khagrachari

Sir Albert Einstein said, “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” As much as this system is practiced in most institutions of Bangladesh, it turns out that institutions of some parts are still far behind in helping its students unleash their creativity. So to eradicate this problem, Awareness 360 is proud to introduce project “Creative Teaching”. This project was coordinated by our very own, Hilari Tripura. In the remote area of Chittagong division many underprivileged children are still deprived of the opportunity of education and among the ones who have been given the opportunity, most of them are fearful to go to school because of strict institutional rules.

The goal of this project was to make these underprivileged children experience creative learning and help them break their fear of learning and create positive attitude in them regarding education and school and refine their knowledge about education through creative arts. The day was spent doing fun activities as drawing, colouring, singing, crafting and sculpting with 26 underprivileged kids from Khagrachari area. The kids were given an insight on the necessity of creative education and the benefits of it. They were also given cakes, candies and some other snacks. Our Chittagong team had a great day with these wonderful kids and aspire to continue project “Creative Teaching” in the future. Let’s continue to spread happiness through education and creativity!
