Project Sharing Happiness

To celebrate the National Children’s Day, our team of Awareness 360 went to Sir Salimullah Muslim Orphanage on the 17th of March, 2018. The activities were led by our core member, Navila Sultana Liza along with her group of volunteers.

Around 60 children of the orphanage participated in the project and the aim of this project was to spend some quality time with them through various activities and teachings and bring a smile to their faces. All the children were very friendly and enthusiastic and our team taught them about health, hygiene, pure water, sanitation, adolescence and demonstrater proper techniques of handwashing and provided Dettol soaps to the children to encourage them about handwashing.

Our team arranged some cultural activities like music, dance and poem recitation for them and celebrated the day also by cutting a cake. Our team also distributed chocolates and balloons among the children. The children were all smiles and very glad to spend their quality time with our team and wanted us to visit them again! Team Awareness 360 aims to make the deprived children aware about hygiene, sanitation and handwashing to ensure their better health and to bring smiles to their faces through various activities.
